Duties & Responsibilities of Senior Technical Assistant (STA)
Responsibility
- Collect and compile baseline data of rainfed and most vulnerable districts.
- Visit drought-prone/rainfed districts as per directions of senior officers.
- Assist Technical Experts and Directors in achieving assigned targets.
- Help in monitoring and supervising program implementation across vulnerable districts.
- Support implementation of agricultural contingency plans in drought-prone areas.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluation of schemes and programs in the Division.
- Contribute to the formulation of state-wise perspective plans for holistic rainfed area development.
- Any other works as may be assigned by NRAA from time to time.
